This website privacy policy describes how Live Love Perform protects and makes use of the information you give the company when you use this website.

For ease of understanding, in this document “data”, refers to any personal details we collect from either yourself or in relation to your child.

We keep our privacy policy under regular review and places any updates on this web page. This privacy policy was last updated on 09th May 2024.

What Are Your Data Protection Rights?

We would like to make sure that you are fully aware of all your data protection rights:

The Right To Access

You have the right to request Live Love Perform for copies of your data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The Right To Rectification

You have the right to request that Live Love Perform correct any information that you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete information you believe is incomplete.

The Right To Erasure

You have the right to request that Live Love Perform erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The Right To Restrict Processing

You have the right to request that Live Love Perform restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The Right To Object To Processing

You have the right to object to Live Love Perform’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The Right To Data Portability

You have the right to request that Live Love Perform transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Data protection law outlines a number of reasons for which a company may collect and process your data, including

In certain circumstances, we can collect and process the data you provide us given your explicit consent.

For example, when you explicitly opt-in to marketing/promotional communications from us.

Contract

In some cases, we need you or your child’s personal data to comply with our contractual obligation to you.

For example, if you book your child into a class with us, we require your contact details including your phone number as well as your child’s notable medical information in the event of an emergency.

If the law requires us to, we may need to collect and process your data.

For example, we may need to pass on your data to the police if by chance, you or your child is involved or subject to criminal activity. Similarly, during Covid-19, we may be legally required to collect, process and share your data with Government agencies for track and trace purposes, etc.

Legitimate Interests

In specific situations, we require your data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way that may reasonably be expected, to be able to run our business. Such action does not materially impact on your rights, freedom or interests. For example, we may use your email address to contact you with specific information relating to your child/our services in which they take part, important notices or changes and any other relevant information that is fundamental in our contractual obligation to you as our customer.

When Do We Collect Your Data?

  • When you book a class with us for your child(ren). This is done through the third-party booking system, ClassForKids and subsequently processed into Monday.com

  • When you book a service with us for your child(ren); for example workshops, holiday camps and birthday parties. For workshops and holiday camps, bookings are through the third-party booking system, ClassForKids and subsequently processed into Monday.com.

  • When you contact us for any reason (i.e a complaint, query, etc) via email, phone, social media, or in person.

  • When you complete any of our surveys, questionnaires, or any data capture forms, either in person, or electronically (i.e through the website).

  • Whilst Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines exist, we may be required to collect data for test & trace purposes for certain service/offerings.

What Sort Of Data Do We Collect?

Third Parties

We use various third-party companies to support our business. Each of them has their own privacy policy, which we strongly recommend you read.

ClassForKids

Their privacy policy

We use ClassForKids for class/workshop/holiday camp bookings.

When you initiallly open a ClassForKids account, they require:

  • Your email address
  • Your name
  • Your address
  • Your mobile number
  • ClassForKids Marketing permissions
  • Terms and conditions agreement

For each child you add to their platform, they will require:

  • Student name
  • Student gender
  • Student date of birth
  • Student address
  • Student emergency contact 1
  • Student emergency contact 2
  • Student medical info

When you book your child onto one of Live Love Perform’s classes/workshop/holiday camp through the ClassForKids platform, we will have access to all this data.

Additionally, we will also require you to explicitly set the following preferences:

  • Can we send you relevant promotion/marketing info for Live Love Perform via email? Comment YES or NO
  • Do you consent to photography/videography of your child during any Live Love Perform offerings, that may be used for marketing purposes? Comment YES or NO. Your child may be unable to take part in certain activities we offer if you say NO.

Stripe

Their privacy policy

If you pay for our services through the ClassForKids booking platform, you will use a third-party payments provider called Stripe, to process your data. Therefore, you’ll be required to submit your relevant data to them, in order for them to carry out this process.

Monday.com

Their privacy policy.

We use Monday.com as our Customer Relationship Manager. We therefore process and store all data (except ‘student medical info’) available which is sent to ClassForKids in Monday.com too.

Amazon Web Services

Their privacy policy.

We use AWS as a data processor between ClassForKids and Monday.com to synchronise customer data. No customer data is persistently stored in AWS.

How And Why We Use Your Data?

We only collect the data about you that is absolutely essential. It is important, given the vulnerable nature of our clientele, that we collect reasonable contact details from parents or guardians, to be able to make prompt contact with them in the event of an emergency for any reason.

To meet our contractual obligation to you as a customer, we will use your email address and mobile number to:

  • Send confirmations of class bookings you have made
  • Send confirmations of class bookings that you have requested we make on your behalf
  • Send invoices of payments/outstanding payments
  • Inform you of any class changes or urgent notices
  • Notify you of any notable changes in Live Love Perform policies or procedures
  • Notify you of any other relevant information that directly affects you as a customer

As per your rights under data protection law, you can change how we use your data and request that we do so by emailing hello@liveloveperform.co.uk, but please remember that some changes may result in us not being able to fulfill our contractual obligation to you. For example, requesting that we delete your contact details, we result in us not being able to deliver our services to you, since we’d not be able to contact you.

Only Live Love Perform staff or duly authorised sub-contracted staff or volunteers can access or view your personal data – and only under legitimate business interests.

Direct Marketing And Opt-Out

Aside from our legitimate interests - where we would contact you about classes/bookings you’ve specifically contacted us about - we may occasionally contact you with what we deem to be relevant marketing communication. We would only ever do this, if you’ve explicitly opted-in for this communication during your booking process with us (through ClassForKids), or if we’ve asked you explicitly, either in-person or electronically (through a Mailchimp/Survey Monkey-provided data-capture form).

How We Protect Your Data

Security of your data is extremely important to us and we have tried our best to ensure that the third-party companies we use to support our business, hold sufficient security procedures and protection.

Our Data Processors

The third-parties we use are listed in the What Sort Of Data Do We Collect? section.

Internally, we use strong passwords, and multi-factor authenticiation when provided to ensure our access to these third-parties is as secure as possible.

How Long Will We Keep Your Data?

We only keep the data you’ve provided to us for as long as is necessary, in order for us to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, as well as fulfilling our other legal basis’, such as our legal obligation and our legitimate interests.

Contractual Obligations

For the purposes of our contractual obligations, we will keep yours and your child(ren)s core personal data (name, contact details, medical information) for 1 year from the point (whichever comes last):

  • your children have not attended any of our classes/holiday camps/workshops, or
  • you have ceased any sort of communication with us; personal, electronic, etc

Once this time period has passed, we will delete your data records from Live Love Perform’s ClassForKids installation.

We can remove your details via Live Love Perform’s Class4Kids installation at any time - to request to have your details removed, please email us at hello@liveloveperform.co.uk or contact Class4Kids at support@class4kids.co.uk.

For the purposes of our legal obligations, we will keep your financial data for up to 6 years, after you cease activities with us. Since our third-party bookings provider, ClassForKids, uses Stripe as a payments provider, please refer to their privacy policy for their own financial data retention period.

Once this time period has passed, we will delete your financial data records from all our electronic communications with you (i.e email).

Web data is electronically deleted/removed and any data in hard-copy format is disposed of via an appropriate confidential waste method.

Who Do We Share Your Data With?

Other than the companies mentioned above, we do not share or sell your personal data to any other third party company, unless we’re required to due to our legal obligation.

What Do Use Cookies For?

We use cookies to:

  • Analyse our web traffic using Google Analytics. This helps us improve the website and user experience.
  • To recognise when you return to our website.

Both these use cases utilise Google Analytics.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics stores information about:

  • the pages you visit on the website
  • how long you spend on each website page
  • what you click on while you’re visiting the site Google Analytics achieves this by using cookies.

Absolutely no personally-identifiable information (PII) is recorded. We also mask IP addresses of our users to provide an increased level of anonymity.
